Short, because there isn't much to it.
What this is
A public weekly ranking of fandoms. A fandom's position is the total money added to it this week. Nothing else counts — no votes, no streams, no editorial judgement.
Money
- Whole US dollars. Minimum $2 per contribution, $5 to put a new fandom on the board, $999,999 maximum per payment.
- A contribution counts the moment the payment completes, in whichever week that happens.
- Contributions are non-refundable. What you get is the placement, and nothing else. There are no prizes, payouts, or rewards for anyone, so this is paid placement, not a wager.
- You don't need an account. We store the payment record, not you.
The week
- The board resets every Sunday at 00:00 UTC. Totals start from zero.
- Whoever holds #1 at that moment goes in the Hall of Fame, permanently, with the week's full standings.
- If two fandoms have the same total, the one whose first contribution came earlier ranks higher.
Entries
- Artist names are used to identify fandoms. Artists, their labels and their agencies are not involved in Fandom Wars and don't endorse it. Nothing here goes to them.
- Rights holders can ask for an entry to be removed at <an inbox you read>. We act on those requests.
- We hide entries that impersonate someone, target a private individual, or are hateful. Duplicates get merged into the original and the money moves with them. Money already added to a hidden entry stays in that week's record and isn't refunded.
What you can't do here
There are no comments, no downvotes and no way to bid against another fandom. The only action on this site is adding to your own side.
